A small group of Democratic Senators have consolidated the Senate healthcare bills into one. This new bill is currently at the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) where the cost implications are being analyzed. It should be released within the next two weeks, and we will be doing our own analysis on this proposed bill. Additionally, the House revised their version of the healthcare bill and voted to pass it by a narrow margin of 220-215. We are continuing to analyze this nearly 2,000 page House Bill to see how those in the healthcare field might be impacted. AMP’s Governmental Affairs Division will continue to monitor these activities due to their far-reaching effects on all healthcare fields.
